Not bad indeed, the fried mackerel can be considered quite fresh (many stalls in S'pore use not-so-fresh fish to serve them fried).

The boss-couple were not around, the stall is manned by two aunties. RM8.50 version comes with only fried fish, no dory fish and tauhu. Asked for extra ikan bilis as the portion in the bowl was quite little and was charged RM1.00 extra (the aunty said it's the boss' instructions). Although the food is not too bad, probably no return trips for me as IMO its's not quite value-for-money (Joe).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-564826827484078485.post-43885534138539138492015-12-23T18:49:55.873+08:002015-12-23T18:49:55.873+08:00Went there today at 11.30am and they were closed :...Went there today at 11.30am and they were closed :-(Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-564826827484078485.post-76610043791728662952015-12-09T11:16:07.981+08:002015-12-09T11:16:07.981+08:00Wow..!!! So perhaps advisable to go earlier on weekends.

We went to the Restoran San Law a short drive away instead and their sanlo beehoon turned out to be pretty good, more crispy and bigger portion than the Ah Kaw and San Low versions.
