I often ask hawkers and shop owners, where do they get their fresh supplies like fish, chicken, meat, fruits and vegetables? For hawkers and shops (especially those selling Halal food), Kip Mart in Tampoi is often mentioned.
I often shop in Kip Mart myself as I found the range of food sold there is wide, fresh, and prices competitive. The environment is bright and clean, and the aisles wide and dry, even at the fish and seafood section. There is no unpleasant smells in the wet market. Parking is free and ample, though it is congested on weekends.
Besides the wet market, there are also sections selling household goods, clothes, electrical appliances and so on.

ReplyDeletetaxi fare will be around rm 20 from Jalan Wang Ah Fook, bus fare will be rm 2 from Jalan Wang Ah Fook, ask the bus driver whether the bus goes by tampoi kip mart ;)

DeleteThere is a bus going frm infrnt of city square bus stop. It will b stated kipmart on the bus. They will drop u in infront of kipmart.

ReplyDeleteThe only pain point I need to feedback is the lack of shopping carts for their only supermarket. You may need to follow existing customers to their car to get one.
