This humble little stall in a corner in Shangi Ji coffee shop along Jalan Lumba Kuda offers a good beef kway teow.
Tin & Tin (Cathay ) Beef Kway Teow stall opened for just a year (as at 2011) but the stall owner Tan Ah Teng had been in the restaurant business for over 40 years. (This space was previously occupied by the legendary Ah Deng Beef Noodle stall. Ah Deng retired in 2010.)

IT Roo's Hainanese chicken chop was one of the first posts in Johor Kaki blog, way back in 2011. We've been back a few times since then, and this is an update. Overall, the signature chicken chop has not changed much except that it's a bit more greasy nowadays. They were still using those cute plates with pink chicken motifs 😂
