Today, we gathered with friends for lunch at the popular Jadi Baru restaurant which everybody knows as "Botak asam pedas". This is the usual scene at lunch time at Botak. The famous JB eatery is named after its owner who sports a bald hairstyle.

It could be because it was my first time tasting asam pedas and I was fortunate enough to taste it in Batu Pahat, the asam pedas Capital of Malaysia.
