Singapore to Broga Hill & Gunung Tok Wan Trekking Itinerary

Wikipedia photo of Broga Hill
I am joining a trekking trip to Broga Hill and Gunung Tok Wan near Kuala Lumpur organised by The Adventure Village. Trekking is a hobby I like to indulge in whenever the opportunity arises.
The highlights of this weekend escape are Broga Hill & Gunung Tok Wan, Titi town for traditional Hakka food, Kuala Selangor Firefly Park, and Ampang yong tau foo.

What to do in Sungai Lembing & Itinerary
I am joining Adventure Village's tour to Sungai Lembing in Pahang state, Malaysia. I am planning the food stops and slotting them into Adventure Village's itinerary 😁
As I have not been to Sungai Lembing before, the plan is based on web resources and advice from friends and Johor Kaki readers. Thank you 🙏 to friends who responded to my calls for help. When I return, I will re-blog about my Sungai Lembing trip with actual personal experiences on the ground.

Trekking near Bangkok 🇹🇭 Huai Yang Waterfall Park Hike Itinerary
We had a great weekend escape to Huai Yang Waterfall Park in Thailand's southern Prachuap Kiri Khan province led by Simon of Travelled Paths.
Bangkok Food Tour Itinerary Nang Leong Market Victory Monument Yaowarat
I am going on a Trekking and Food Trip in Bangkok hosted by Simon of Travelled Paths. We are going to climb the 1,350 metre high Khaoluang Prachuab Khiri Khan which is located about 350 km south of Bangkok. Our reward for the two day, one night trekking and camping trip is the mesmerizing sunset and sunrise at the magnificent Huay Yang National Park - followed by a one day Bangkok food trail to recover the calories we lost and to get fed fat again :-D

Hai Di Lao Pudong Shanghai 海底捞火锅
Since arriving in Shanghai, Mary has been wanting to show us Hai Di Lao 海底捞火锅, the famous Chinese hot pot (known as steamboat in Singapore / Malaysia) chain here. Founded in 1994 in Sichuan, there are now over 250 Hai Di Lao outlets around the world including two in Singapore. This was my first time in a Hai Di Lao restaurant.

Joez Coconut Jelly in Penang Georgetown Dato Karamat JK1300
Michael was raving since day 1 of our trip about his family's must have coconut jelly in Penang. But, our busy programme was very tight - on the road the whole time through Langkawi, Alor Star, Butterworth and Penang. We finally managed to check in at Joez Coconut Jelly along Jalan Dato Karamat just before boarding the plane in Penang on day 5 ;-P
