Every time I post something about lor ark or braised duck, there's a good chance that a fan or two of Heng Gi will reach out to me and ask if I have tried their favourite duck rice stall. I finally did recently. I like it because it's an old school lor ark reminiscent of 1960s Singapore.

Tekka Centre in Singapore's Little India is the briyani central of the island as there are some 10 briyani stalls concentrated in this hawker centre. I am on a (self appointed 😛 ) mission to find the best briyani of Tekka Centre. I am only half way through, and is reporting on the best briyani stall so far.

Tekka Market in Little India is a briyani lover's paradise. There are more than 10 different hawker stalls serving this popular dish at affordable prices. To pick a stall to try, I circled the three rows of stalls and stalked them for a while until some stallholders recognised me before I ordered anything 😂

Finally had a chance to taste 545 Whampoa Prawn Noodles at Tekka Market today right after my medical appointment. So happy to manage to catch the last few bowls before the stall closes at 2:00pm 😃
