Big Brother 2 二师兄 is a little hidden gem serving restaurant quality dishes in a humble shop lot in a quiet section of Taman Seri Austin, JB. To me, it's worth the effort to seek out Big Brother 2 as the food is nice, reasonably priced and I find eating good food in unexpected places a special pleasure 😂

I am always on the look out for good char kway teow like many Malaysians and Singaporeans. Ah Hong's char kway teow in Taman Seri Austin didn't really bowled me over but I know many people like this style of CKT so I am sharing it here.

We wandered into Cheng Heng coffee shop in a quiet neighbourhood back street in Taman Seri Austin on a hot mid day. We were surprised but happy to bump into Mdm Au Yong whose wanton mee stall used to be at No Signboard coffee shop at Jalan Maju (near Plaza Pelangi).
