I've heard about the popular Putu Bambu Juriah in Ayer Hitam. So, when I spotted this huge banner on my way to Claytan Tableware Factory Store, I quickly pulled over to check out the famous putu bambu as it is one of my favourite traditional Malay snacks.
Eating in restaurants in Singapore and Malaysia, I occasionally come across crockery and tableware by Claytan. I am sure many of you have too. I have a good impression of Claytan products and associate it with fine china. Thanks to buddy Lim JP, I came to Claytan Ceramics Factory Store in Ayer Hitam, Johor for the first time.
Tang Chuan is an old established name of over 50 years in freshly made pau (Chinese steamed buns 大包) in Ayer Hitam.
