Balé Social is the clubhouse of Leisure Farm Resort in Gelang Patah. It's all prettily dressed up for the joyful season 🎄

Many people still don't know that this idyllic, exclusive clubhouse is open to the public to enjoy 🤫

The landscaped and well manicured clubhouse is airy, breezy, has a bar and sheltered "al fresco seating" overlooking the lush green playing field and swimming pool.

I was invited to preview the dinner. One glass of house pour red or white wine is included. My unker stout wasn't 🤭 Anyway, the bar has good selections of juices, beers, wines and spirits to choose from.

Choice of starters, either the salad or the soup.

Pouring the dried cranberry dressing over the smoked turkey breast salad got our saliva flowing 🤤

The tender smoked turkey slices and fresh crunchy juicy greens were gently sweet overlaid with sweeter and tangy cranberry sauce. Excellent way to get our party going.

I also enjoyed this creamy savoury sweet Roasted Cauliflower & Chestnut Soup with sourdough croutons. There's a subtle pleasant smokiness with the thick savoury soup.

Scoop the soup up with house made toasted sourdough bread.

Choice of beef or chicken main course.

The beef main course, Pot Roast Aussie Meltique Ribeye crusted with Sarawakian Black Peppercorn, Pomme Puree, Roasted Baby Carrots, Cherry Tomatoes & Brown Sauce.

Hahaha..... we were a little over exuberant with the brown sauce but it turned out that the savoury sweet flavours complemented the roast beef and pomme puree (I mean creamy mash potato) perfectly.

Tender slightly chewy, juicy savoury beefy.

For chicken lovers, there's the main course option of Baked Chicken Cordon Bleu with Coconut Creamed Spinach & Cranberry Relish.

Tender savoury sweet rolled chicken with a slice of ham folded inside. Paired with tangy sweet cranberry relish.

Faster than we can say Merry Christmas, it was time for dessert 🎄

Oh...it's a good one.

Orange Peel & Callebaut Chocolate Cake served with House Made Mulled Wine. Rich, soft, moist, sweet, fruity, chocolaty, so tasty!

I hope they will make this for afternoon tea as well 🤭
