Crispy deep fried chicken offal, neck and skin add to the allure of Mat Noh & Rose Ginger Fried Chicken stall. The rice is nice too with the requisite chicky savoury sweet flavours infused in the soft grains. Its a busy stall often with huge takeaway orders.... ouch..., if you in the queue.

Mat Noh & Rose's fried chicken is well marinated with spices and fresh ginger juice. It comes with an eye catching reddish orangey hue (from cumin & turmeric), topped with crispy crumbs. The spices were mild and ginger heat was very gentle, so yeah.... it was all flavour that won't sting. Although called "ginger fried chicken" the alluring taste and smell of garlic was also prominent.
Made with fresh chicken, even the fried chicken breast come tender and moist, but I still prefer the thigh and leg for max juice and chicky flavour.
Mat Nor & Rose also have deep fried neck, liver, gizzard and tail! 😱
Can fried chicken hearts warm hearts like cockles?
My favourite side here is the fried chicken skin. Mat Noh does a really mean one here - crackly skin like biscuit, well infused with spice flavours with discernible underlying chicken taste. Not greasy at all.
You saw those crispy crumb toppings that come with the chicken rice set right....? They are not crumbs that fall off the fried chicken but specially made and fried to add texture and flavour to their chicken set. Woah... this type of dedication must support! 👍
I don't have a close up shot of the rice but it's nice. Not overly greasy, soft, slightly clumpy, but well infused with savoury and chicky flavours that complement the fried chicken well. They use long grain basmati rice but cooked it rather moist.
