Unif Artificial Spicy Beef Flavour Bowl Instant Noodles
Unif Artificial Spicy Beef Flavour Bowl Instant Noodles from China.
Under the lid, the fried noodle block fits snugly.
Inside the cup, there were three sachets and a plastic fork.
The seasoning powder contains MSG.
The sauce made with palm and sesame oils with chili and spices.
The garnishing consists of dehydrated chili, chive and cabbage.
The cup of fiery looking spicy beef flavour noodles was ready in 3 minutes.
The squiggly noodles were thin, soft and spongy. Likable. The broth which were stuck to the noodles gave the wheat tasting noodles a spicy, savoury flavour. The noodles were also greasy from the oil that clung to them.
The broth though not very appealing in looks actually tasted quite nice. Savoury and spicy with interesting bits of garnishing like chili, chili seeds, chives and preserved cabbages floating in the broth. I couldn't detect any beefy flavour, though.
The broth wasn't very spicy but something in it gave my tongue a slight numb feeling similar to a chili sting. As a lover of spicy food, I like this.
There was little aroma from the broth and it smelled artificial.
Unif Artificial Spicy Beef Flavour Bowl Instant Noodles didn't do well in the dip stick test. Lots of grease got stuck to the dip stick.
I didn't finish the broth as I was turned off by the grease.
