We were finishing up seafood lunch at Savoey📍Mercury Ville and ready for dessert. But, Bangkok kaki Eddie suggested saving our tummy space and have dessert at a new cafe.
Cafe DIOR is just a short 5 minute walk from Mercury Ville (@ Chit Lom BTS station).
Cafe DIOR is located inside the grand, opulent looking DIOR Gold House concept store.

Inside Cafe DIOR, it's not a very big space but every inch exulted an air of dignified luxury and understated class.
We wouldn't expect anything less from DIOR.
I see a love of Mother Nature (flora & fauna motifs), respect for local traditions and sustainability (extensive use of cane / rattan in decorations, art and furnishings).
The design seemed to bring the carefully manicured garden into the elegant air conditioned cafe.
Staff explained the cakes and pastries, the way it's done at fine restaurants, before taking our orders.
Some of the exquisite cakes and drinks we had. They tasted as good as they looked.
Pastries. Delicious art.
The artistry is in the design and fine details.
