Chinatown Complex Food Centre. Directory of Stalls in the Green Zone. 2 of 4 Parts

Opened in 1983, Chinatown Complex Food Centre on level 2 is the largest hawker centre in Singapore. It has 226 stalls, including a few which lineage trace back to the street side hawkers that once plied the lanes and alleys of Chinatown since the early 1900s. Chinatown hawker centre is still the focal point of heritage street food in Singapore, though it is fast fading as the original hawkers retire or pass on.

Chinatown Complex Food Centre is divided into 4 colour coded sections - Yellow, Green, Red and Blue.

To help myself navigate the huge food centre, I am putting together 4 directories based on the 4 colour codes. I hope it is useful for you too - take a handy, armchair virtual tour first before going to the stall.

The Green Zone has a small section facing the escalator. You can tell which zone you are at by the colour of the tables and stools, pillars and frames of the stall units.

Almost all the Green Zone stalls are located at the back and not visible from the front at the escalator.

Here is the directory to all the stalls in the Green Zone.

    1. Yes that is stall #02-83. The legendary Hong Kor and his stall known as "Cooked Food & Claypot Kitchen". Amazing Cantonese restaurant dishes in a humble hawker stall. Must try.
