Our lunch today was at the Yakiniku ๐ Like!! outlet at VivoCity. Tasty, Quick, Value - We enjoyed ourselves as the food was fresh, delicious, served quickly once we put in our orders, environment was clean and comfortable, prices were competitive and company was great!
Five of us, we waited for about one hour for a table. Smaller parties or singletons can probably get a table quicker.
There's a large Best Denki store directly opposite Yakiniku ๐ Like!! which might help some kill time ๐
Five of us, we opted for a selection of ala carte dishes. The beef, chicken and pork were all fresh with just a light dribble of savoury sweetish BBQ sauce.
Well marbled Wagyu Beef Steak.
Yakiniku ๐ Like!! regularly have featured items. This week they have A5 Miyazaki Wagyu beef.
The meat were grilled over small personal electric grills which are smokeless and sputter proof. The grill burn pretty hot (adjustable), so cooking was done in a jiffy - in other words, gotta watch your beef.
We didn't take the BBQ pit home - I mean we went home without the smell of BBQ in our clothes or hair. My glasses
also didn't get fogged up with a stubborn, hard-to-clean film of grease (my pet peeve).
The little cup at the top left contained garlic and butter.
Beef tongue is one of my favourite cuts but a bit hard to get right as the thin slices cook really fast.
All of us love this Wagyu Beef Steak. Savoury sweet oozing with plenty of sweet juices from the fat.
We had a great time at Yakiniku ๐ Like!! Delicious food, nice casual environment, comfortable furnishings, friendly service, competitive pricing. Our bill came to around $190.
