Khaoyai which is a 3-hour drive northeast from Bangkok, is a popular getaway for Bangkokians for its cooler climate, Khao Yai Natural Park, and European aesthetic vibes of its attractions.
If you are visiting Bangkok and have the time, a one or two night excursion to Khao Yai makes your trip more fun and interesting. Escape from the city buzz of Bangkok for the countryside vibes like a local. I will share more on Khao Yai attractions in future articles.
For our visit to Khao Yai, we stayed at Casa Ricca Pool Villa and found that it was excellent for our needs.

There's parking space for two, even three cars comfortably.
Big, spacious, air conditioned rooms with king size beds, clean linen and attached toilets in both housing blocks.
A private swimming pool for chilling, cooling off and dipping.
The poolside common room has karaoke with big screen TV to entertain ourselves to our hearts' content 🎤
Relaxing at the rooftop with panoramic views of the surrounding area including Khao Yai National Park.
Well equipped kitchen and dining room.
The attic is another chilling spot.
The entire property was very well kept and clean. All the amenities were in working order. We can call the concierge, in case we needed anything.
We had a mookata (Thai style BBQ steamboat) party at the patio. Just give the concierge a call to order your meal such as dinner, lunch and breakfast. The fees are nominal.
The mookata set was delivered to our villa, so convenient! Just a phone call away.
Food was so fresh. We enjoyed ourselves a lot.
After dinner at the villa, we galavanted around Khao Yai for cafes, restaurants and bars. (Tell you more in another article.)
