I started the year with an evening of raw adrenaline rush at the Orient Watch M-FORCE NIGHT 2016 held at the KF1 Karting Circuit. It's my first time go-karting, and I tell you.... it's so thrilling and addictive :-D
The regular event sponsored by the Singapore distributor of Orient watches was for all customers who purchased Orient M-Force watches from any authourised dealer in Singapore during the period Jan 2015 till Jan 2016.
From the M-FORCE NIGHT, I saw that Orient watches have fans from all walks of life and across all age groups :-D
I shouldn't be surprised. The M-Force watch from Japan is thoughtfully designed, solidly built, rigorously race tested, looks great and reasonably priced too. The Orient M-Force x STi Limited Edition is available at SGD615 each.
M-FORCE NIGHT 2016 was held at KF1 Karting Circuit which is right at the Kranji MRT station. It's a unique experience - to whiz around the tight circuit and pass under the railway track with trains rumbling just inches overhead. The riot of sounds and vibrations added to the excitement :-D
The participants had to go 6 laps of practice round, 6 laps of qualifying round and 6 laps for the final round.
Besides fun, the organisers put a lot of emphasis on safety to ensure that everyone has an enjoyable and safe evening together.
I am a firm believer that everything has a beginning and proper ending. Must have head and tail mah.......
Maybe that's why my go-kart was lined up at the head of the flag off for the final round ;-p That's me flashing the victory sign for good luck (at the left of the photo).
Off we go! Barrelling full throttle down the straights and pulling hard around the sharp bends.
Go-karting is one of the most thrilling sport!
It's a game of strategy, judgement, focus, dexterity, quick thinking, guts, aggression and some luck.
Go-karting is a very intense sport.
I felt the rush of cool air against my body as I did my best to complete each lap in the shortest time possible, yet under my shirt and helmet I was dripping sweat like I was in a sauna!
Each lap, I pushed the screaming machine and myself harder, it was so addictive I felt I could go on forever, but before I knew it...... .

We pulled our go-karts back into the paddock unwillingly - our fingers and feet still itching for more.
As I said before, everything must have head and tail.
So, I wrapped up the tail for the final race lo 包尾 :-D
Congratulations to Champions Wah Kum, Winson and Kim Hee who walked away with great prizes presented by Leslie Chang, Singapore distributor of Orient watches and Giodarno Timewear.
Besides the go-kart race, participants also had a lot of fun with party games and lucky draws. The winners received valuable prizes from Irene.
