Monaco Dining Restaurant at Southkey has a set lunch worth a try. Prices start at RM38++ for two courses.
Monaco Dining is at level 2 and 3 of the shoplot restaurant. A friendly staff showed us the way up (it's a nice welcoming gesture from the restaurant).
The interior was not big, relatively simply furnished but elegant and pleasant with romantic mood lighting 🤭

There were also private rooms of various sizes on level 3.
The Ceasar salad. We enjoyed it as the ingredients were crunchy fresh, well cleaned and prepared, and the creamy sauce was delicious.
Smooth, creamy chicken chowder.
For mains there's choice of seafood, chicken, pasta or bread. There's also vegetarian option.
We had chicken kebab (BBQ grill chicken skewer).
The chunky meaty chicken was tender, moist, tasted savoury sweet with a slight toasty flavour. We liked it.
Grilled croaker fish with barley.
The tender moist white flesh was sweet with a slight earthly taste and tasty toasty flavour from the slight charring.
Today's dessert was panacotta.
We also had foie gras from the mains menu (not part of set lunch).
Rich, creamy and saturated with aromatic goose liver oil.
Chunk of black cod on black rice (another add on, not part of set lunch).
So.... soft-tender, moist almost juicy, warm with amazing but gentle sweetness of good white fish. A bit of toastiness from the searing and savouriness from the sauce.
So good.
Rounding it up with lobster bisque.
Mind blowing umami from the creamy buttery smooth concoction of lobster head and prawn shell. I felt I can taste sea minerals in the bisque. Whatever you order at Monaco Dining, if you love umami, get this lobster bisque to get your umami shock.
Good ol' nostalgic chocolate lava cake, still got people sell woh... 🤭 Nice! Not overly sweet.
