My favourite ways to eat spaghetti are the minimalist aglio e olio followed by self indulgent Singapore chili crab spaghetti :-D I am not sure where this brilliant Italian - Singapore fusion of two national dishes was invented but the best chili crab spaghetti that I've tasted in Johor Bahru is at EH HE Art Cafe at Jalan Tan Hiok Nee.

EHHE serves a wide range of local and Western fare as well as one of my favourite Nanyang kopi. EH HE is a family oriented restaurant that has something in it's menu for everyone.
EH HE's Singapore Chili Crab Spaghetti. It's a generous serving at RM18.90.
The pasta was done al dente with a tender firmness to the bite. The mound of pasta was completely smothered with a thick blanket of sweet, tangy, savoury sauce with mildly spicy notes. The thick blanket was made mainly of onions, tomatoes, eggs and crabs.... lots of crabs.... almost too much sweet crabs.....
EHHE extracted the slivers of soft white meat by hand from flower crabs and mixed it into the house made spaghetti sauce.
I can feel the spongy fibres of sweet crab meat with every bite.
->> Singapore's visiting President Tony Tan just told his Italian hosts that there is much scope for cultural co-operation between Singapore and Italy. In the culinary field, there's already Singapore chili crab spaghetti :-D A good version of that is at EH HE Art Cafe in Johor Bahru.
