I followed Johnny of SZ Kitchen since his days at Gek Poh shopping centre in Jurong (about 10 years ago). SZ Kitchen serves affordable set meals and fish soup which are good value and tasty. We also like their fried chicken.

But, to us SZ Kitchen's biggest draw has always been their premium fish.

I Ate Ox Eyeballs in Vietnam & it was Eye Popping Awesome 👀

My favourite part of a cow has long been the tail 😋 Now, it is my second most favourite part 😅

That honour now belongs to ox eyes 👁️ 🤭

While at Shilin night market 士林夜市 in Taipei, we stumbled upon a stall serving Zhuang Yuan Gao or scholar rice cake 狀元糕. They were small snowy white cup size cakes with options of crushed peanut, sesame seed, and brown sugar fillings.
