You know right, after 2 food stops in Kluang we topped up our caffeine, pacified our tummies and emptied our bladders - it's time for higher order human needs. We need WiFi! 📶 So, we wandered into Lady T cafe which is just next door to Tangkak Beef Noodle in Kluang.
Lady T Cafe looked rather basic inside, even slightly spartan - certainly not a made for Instagram cafe. But, it has life saving air conditioning and WiFi!

When the cakes arrived, they made me sit up (I was slouching on the couch). I was immediately impressed by how fine Lady T's cakes look.
I like the gentle layered sweetness of the milli crepe. Love the texture too - the smooth soft cream alternating with the gentle subtle crunch of the paper thin egg crepe.
The flat white caught my eye too. Nice dark teak colour, good crema, pretty latte art. Nice aroma, full body and I like the rich deep robust savoury sweet taste too. There's none of that bitterness nor sourness.
Co-owner Cheong told us that the beans are award winning Arabica from Brazil which were the rage in 2013/2014. They still taste great to me 🍮 Vintage champions are OK👌, I am not a trend follower.

Cheong's business partner Ms Ting (I mean Lady T) is a self taught pâtissier. She wasn't at the cafe at the time.
Information for you 👌 Nice artisanal cakes and good coffee. Comfortable pit stop to cool your heels during your food trail and they have free Wifi!
